Family Mediation
Family mediation provides a structured, trauma‑informed space for parents and caregivers to resolve conflict, strengthen communication, and create sustainable co‑parenting agreements. Whether navigating custody concerns, communication breakdowns, or blended‑family transitions, mediation helps families move forward with clarity and dignity.
What We Address
Co‑parenting communication challenges
Custody or visitation disagreements
Blended family transitions
Emotional tension impacting children
Family conflict requiring guided support
What to Expect Sessions are calm, structured, and solution‑focused. We help you identify core concerns, clarify needs, and develop practical agreements that support long‑term stability. Our approach prioritizes emotional safety, neutrality, and clarity.
Understanding Your Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
At the end of your mediation sessions, Grace by BBT™ prepares a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This document summarizes the agreements you reached during mediation in clear, neutral language. The MOU is not a court order yet — but it is the foundation for one.
How the MOU Becomes Legally Binding
Mediation sessions are completed.
Grace by BBT™ drafts your MOU.
Your attorney reviews the MOU and prepares the final legal document.
Your attorney files it with the court.
The judge approves it, making it a legally binding court order.
Mediation is still part of the court process — it simply provides a faster, more collaborative path to resolution.
