Facilitation helps participants clarify issues, organize priorities, strengthen communication, and work toward practical, informed next steps.

Facilitation may be requested by an employer, agency, department, board, leadership team, or other authorized stakeholder. Before services begin, the written agreement identifies the client, participants, payment responsibility, confidentiality terms, and any authorized administrative reporting.

Depending on the organization’s needs and the written agreement, the process may use facilitated dialogue, structured meetings, strategic-planning facilitation, problem-solving sessions, stakeholder engagement, or another appropriate neutral format.

Geographic Availability

GRACE by BBT™ provides private virtual Facilitation Services throughout the United States and internationally when participation is appropriate.

Any employer-, agency-, or program-referred matter is accepted only when it falls within GRACE by BBT™’s services and complies with the referring organization’s requirements.

Hourly Facilitation Services

$300–$500 per hour

The final rate depends on:

A deposit equal to one hour of the selected service is required to reserve an appointment.

The deposit is applied toward the scheduled service and is not an additional charge.

The written agreement identifies what administrative information, if any, may be reported to the organization, agency, board, employer, or referring stakeholder. Administrative reporting is distinct from disclosure of the substance of confidential discussions.

Some government, public-body, board, or publicly funded engagements may be subject to public-meeting, records-retention, disclosure, notice, or reporting requirements. Those requirements are identified in the written agreement when applicable.

Participants receive information about confidentiality before services begin.

What happens if participants do not reach a resolution?

Participants may continue facilitation, agree on some matters and not others, pause the process, consult independent advisors, return to an organizational process, pursue another dispute-resolution option, or end facilitation.

The facilitator does not force a resolution or make organizational decisions.

How long does a facilitation engagement take?

The timeline depends on the number of participants, stakeholder groups, preparation requirements, number and length of sessions, documentation, and the organization’s decision-making process.

Is facilitation the same as mediation?

No. Facilitation supports structured meetings, planning, collaboration, and group problem-solving. Mediation is generally used when identified participants need help addressing a dispute or negotiating a possible resolution.

Some engagements may include both approaches when clearly defined in the written agreement.

Does the facilitator provide legal or HR advice?

No. GRACE by BBT™ does not provide legal, HR, employment-law, governance, medical, financial, tax, or valuation advice.
